Issue 70

Through history, God has shown His love for us by giving us miracles so that we might believe as He did at the Red Sea for the people of God of the old Covenant. At Fatima, He created the Miracle of the Sun so that Our Lady’s urgent Message of repentance and reparation be obeyed before it is too late for many souls. This could well be His last reminder. Will the world wake up in time? As the Vatican itself tells us, Sr. Lucy wrote to the Pope and said: “Since we did not heed this appeal of the Message, we see that it has been fulfilled, Russia has invaded the world with her errors. And if we have not yet seen the complete fulfillment of the final part of this prophecy, we are going towards it with great strides.” In other words, we are very close to the prophecy that “various nations will be annihilated.”

Lucy and the Pirates
by Mark Fellows

For over forty years nearly every tactic - silence, intimidation, bad theology, disinformation, and hired liars - has been used to bury the real Message of Fatima. As the only living seer of Fatima, Sister Lucy has been the victim of these same tactics. Innumerable false statements have been attributed to her in an attempt to change the true meaning of Fatima's Message. However, as this article explains, Lucy has always remained constant and loyal to the true Message.

The Pope Proclaims May 13 Feast of Our Lady of Fatima
by Father Paul Kramer, B.Ph., S.T.B., M.Div., S.T.L. (Cand.)

With the proclamation of the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, Pope John Paul II gave the Fatima apparitions the highest form of approval they have yet received, assuring us that the Message of Fatima is not a part of the past, but especially relevant today. Father Kramer explains that since the apparitions are a fulfillment of prophecy, as indicated by the Pope himself, the Third Secret has definite implications for our times.

Divine Intervention
by Coralie Graham, Editor

There is a parallel between the story of St. John Gualberto, who, through a miracle, proved the corruption of a bishop, and the Miracle of the Sun witnessed at Fatima. In both cases, God's miracle was the instrument used to confirm a message. As the lay people at the time of St. John Gualberto understood God's message and drove out the bad bishop, so also today we are charged with doing all we can do to defend the true Fatima Message and to advance it.

It Doesn't Add Up
by John Vennari

For over 70 years, Sister Lucy of Fatima has maintained constancy on the exact conditions Heaven demanded for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary to bring about the conversion of 'that poor nation'. But according to a communiqué issued on December 20, 2001 by the Vatican Information Service, that's all changed. What is behind this contradiction?

Let Us Hear the Witness, for Heaven's Sake
by Christopher A. Ferrara

If there is nothing to hide concerning the Message of Fatima, why is the only living eyewitness to the Fatima revelations never allowed to speak to the faithful in person? And why does the November 17, 2001 two-hour interview with Sister Lucy - for which no transcript is provided - contain only 44 words from the visionary herself concerning the Consecration of Russia and disclosure of the Third Secret?

Antidote Against Heresy:
The Most Holy Rosary
by St. Alphonsus de Liguori

The Rosary has been a weapon of the faithful for centuries, used to combat evil forces and call down a shower of graces. This powerful weapon is necessary now more than ever.

The Third Secret of Fatima:
Has It Been Completely Revealed?
by Rev. Father Gérard Mura

This article is an excerpt from a soon-to-be published work by Father Mura, which extensively covers Fatima and its Message. In this article, Father Mura calls into doubt the assurances of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith on June 26, 2000 that there is nothing more to the Third Secret than the text published by them on that day.
